International Women’s day: LTS Brewing

(ABC 6 News) – Wednesday is International Women’s day and every year LTS Brewing releases a beer called ‘What she’s having.”

They make it with a hot blend that benefits the Pink Boot Society, which is an organization that supports women in the brewing industry and education.

It is a hazy IPA style, and the brewery is running a “round up” event where customers can choose to round up their bill and the proceeds go to the Pink Boot Society.

Each year, the blend is chosen by a group of all-female brewers.

“Basically that blend gets chosen by a group of brewers who are women and other people who are in the brewing industry who are women and they choose the different hops that compose the blend and usually its a lot of tropical fruit and it makes a really nice IPA.” Co-owner of LTS Brewing company, Brandon Schulz.

LTS says their ‘I’ll have what she’s having’ IPA is a fruity IPA with notes of pine. The brewery makes a full batch of the IPA which is about seven barrels or about 215 gallons.
