Iowa High School Voter Registration Day

(ABC 6 News) – Iowa’s Secretary of State is encouraging high schools to host a voter registration drive to kick off tomorrow’s High School Voter Registration Day.
Currently, Iowa law allows 17-year-olds to register to vote in the state.
Secretary Paul Pate encourages students to both register and familiarize with the voting process prior to this year’s presidential election.
Iowa law requires high schools to conduct two voter registration drives every school year.
