Mayo High students raise $28,000 for Women’s Shelter
(ABC 6 News) – On Monday, students at Mayo High School are writing Rochester’s Women’s Shelter and Support Center a check stretching into the tens of thousands.
It’s part of an annual effort, now in its tenth year, where students get involved with the Give One For All campaign.
This years total broke the record, raising more than $28,000.
The women’s shelter says they money will be used to enhance programs, advocacy and legal support.
