MnDOT to close I-90 westbound Marion Rest Area Nov. 14-18
(ABC 6 News) – The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) will temporarily close the westbound I-90 Marion Rest Area starting at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, November 14.
MnDOT says crews will be installing a new water treatment system.
The rest area is expected to reopen by Friday, November 18. However, if work is completed sooner, it could reopen then.
The rest area is at mile marker 222, west of the Highway 42 exit to Eyota, about 3.5 miles east of the Highway 52 exit to Rochester.
The next rest area after Marion is Oakland Woods Rest Area at mile marker 171 west of Austin.
