MOA sees 10,000 customers in first hour of Black Friday
(ABC 6 News) – The Mall of America reported seeing more than 10,000 shoppers between doors opening at 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. Friday, Nov. 25.
According to the MOA, shoppers began lining up outside the building’s North Entrance at 4 p.m. Thanksgiving Day, when the mall was still closed.
“Opening our doors Black Friday morning to crowds of excited shoppers is a one-of-a-kind experience,” said Jill Renslow, the executive vice president of business development and marketing for the MOA. “We have seen an incredible turnout today, which shows that people are ready to get back to their holiday traditions.”
