Oronoco woman found incompetent on 2019, 2021 charges
(ABC 6 News) – An Oronoco woman was found incompetent in four cases from 2019 and 2021.
Katie Ann Orth will appear in court in October on felony damage to property charges after allegedly smashing a car window in August of 2020.
Four other cases were dismissed on grounds of incompetence.

If a suspect is found incompetent to stand trial, according to Minnesota law, misdemeanor charges must be dismissed.
Orth’s misdemeanor charges included 2019 knowing violation of a restraining order and obstructing the legal process, as well as 2021 charges of speeding, driving after revocation, lack of insurance, and obstructing the legal process.
