POLL: Voters share overall approval on Gov. Walz, Biden

(ABC 6 News) – In a new ABC 6 News poll conducted by SurveyUSA, Minnesotans are sharing their overall approval ratings for Governor Tim Walz and president Biden and how they’ve handled the economy.
Out of 675 adult Minnesotans, a quarter of voters said they strongly approve of the job Governor Walz has done so far, while 30 percent somewhat approve and just under 50 percent say they either somewhat or strongly disapprove.
As far as the governor’s handling of the economy – just over 50% percent of voters strongly or somewhat approve of how Walz has handled the economy so far. Seven percent say they’re not sure how they feel.
Now looking at president Biden’s approval rating among the group. Just under 50 percent expressed some sort of approval for the president. While the other half of voters say they disapprove of the job he has done so far.
As far as the president’s handling of the economy, fewer people approve of how he has handled things so far, while a majority disapprove.
