Rochesterfest names Chair Person, announces start of Button Design Contest
(ABC 6 News) – In a press conference at Rochester City Hall on Wednesday morning, Rochesterfest announced the Chair Person along with the start of the Button Design Contest for the 2023 event.
Kathleen Harrington, will serve as Chair Person. Earlier in February, Harrington was also named interim executive director of Rochester Downtown Alliance.

Harrington was the president of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce from 2018 to 2021 and the public policy and government relations division chair at Mayo Clinic from 2011 to 2018. She also serves or has served on multiple community-based boards for Salvation Army and the Rochester Civic Theatre, among others.
Returning Rochesterfest events include Treasure Hunt, 2 Evenings of Family Fun Night, Sports Night, Hispanic Night, Million Dollar Hole-in-One Shoot Out, Lots of Entertainment, a Parade & more.
Rochesterfest Grand Parade will take place on Saturday, June 24th at 2pm, using the route similar to last year.
Wednesday also marked the beginning of the Rochesterfest Button Design Contest. The winner will receive $300.
Rochesterfest 2023 is scheduled for June 17-25 at Soldiers Field Park.
