Rochester’s Home & Lifestyles Show kicks off

(ABC 6 News) – With the transition to Daylight Saving time this weekend, it’s time to think Spring. One way to do so is to visit the Graham Arena for Rochester’s Home & Lifestyles Show.
The event kicked off Friday and provides access to regional experts who will be presenting available, deliverable products and services for home, business and outdoor enjoyment and adventures.
Every aspect of the home can be explored, from the smallest design detail in the bathroom to the largest house addition to the kitchen. Professionals will be on hand to share their valuable knowledge on bringing ideas to life or inspiration with new ones.
Business owners say shows like this are important so they can keep there schedukes up to date and make sure they are able to take in future projects.
“This is how we go out and meet the community and everybody else we interact with. It’s also how we set up our jobs for the future. Right now, it’s a little cold to do some of this stuff. So in order to have the material and everything lined up when that warm weather does hit, we got to be hear making sure we’re meeting faces,” said Minnesota Building Contractors, Project Manager JD Harstad.
There is also a kids workshop area for children to get a hands-on learning experience.
The show continues Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There is free parking, free admission and is handicap accessible.
