(ABC 6 News) – UPDATE: A Rochester teenager accused of assault on N Broadway was found with a missing Stewartville girl, according to the juvenile girl’s father.

Jacob George Bale, 18, was allegedly spotted on N Broadway and Northern Heights Drive NE with the Stewartville girl around 7:20 p.m., according to Rochester police.

The Stewartville girl had been missing for about a week, and had been reported to the National Crime Information Center (NCIC).

Bale and the girl were spotted by the juvenile girl’s father and his friend, Rochester police said, and attempted to flee the two men.

According to Rochester police, the Stewartville girl’s father restrained the girl after a short chase, while Bale pulled out a knife and reportedly threatened the men with it.

After an altercation, the men briefly restrained Bale, who escaped their hold and fled on foot.

Rochester police responded to the assault shortly after Bale fled.

Bale was located in the same area, N Broadway and Northern Heights Drive, around 10 p.m. and fled police on foot.

Police set up a perimeter around the area, brought in a drone and K-9, and reportedly took Bale into custody later that night.

According to Rochester police, Bale had outstanding warrants for 4th-degree assault and drug charges.

He may face additional charges of 2nd- and 5th-degree assault, fleeing police on foot, and disorderly conduct after Wednesday night.

Rochester police also claim they found a Percocet pill in Bale’s pocket after he was taken to the Adult Detention Center, which could lead to a charge of bringing a controlled substance into a jail.
