RPD: Young woman’s death likely caused by overdose

(ABC 6 News) – Rochester police reported a probable overdose Friday, after a young woman’s friend called first responders to the scene of her death.

According to RPD, officers responded to an apartment complex in the 400 block of 31st Street Northwest at about 10:22 a.m.

The friend told officers they had gone to check on the 22-year-old woman after not hearing from her, and used a key to the apartment to find the woman dead in her residence.

According to Rochester police, officers reported signs of drug use at the scene, including pills and drug paraphernalia.
