Several dogs seized from a property in Fillmore County

(ABC 6 News) — The Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office seized 15 dogs while executing a search warrant in southwestern Fillmore County.

The seizure happened on Thursday, February 22 around 10:00 a.m. in Beaver Township. According to FCSO, the animals are being cared for by the Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley, MN.

“All of the animals that arrive at AHS, no matter how they arrive, get veterinary care, behavior evaluation, and all that necessary care that they need,” said Sarah Bhimani, a strategic communications manager with the Golden Valley Human Society

No arrests have been made and no charges have been filed. The case is still under investigation.
