Social-ICE 2023 netted 42K visitors, per RDA

(ABC 6 News) – The Rochester Downtown Alliance said Friday that Social-ICE 2023 drew around 42,594 to Peace Plaza Feb. 24-25.

The RDA estimated the economic impact of those visitors at about $1.5 million.

The event returned to its original format in 2023, after two years of pandemic restrictions.

“We are thrilled with the success of Social-ICE and FAM JAM and thank everyone who came together to celebrate winter,” said Kathleen Harrington, Rochester Downtown Alliance interim executive director. “We met our goals of having a fun-for-all-ages winter party and driving more business during the challenging winter season for Rochester’s great downtown bars and restaurants.”
