Rochester Community and Technical College has a partnership with Sports Mentorship Academy to help college kids reach their potential.
A college student-athlete meets twice a week with an SMA student on the Rochester Community and Technical College campus. Students in this program are visiting a college campus more than 70 hours per school year before they even begin high school.
The space will be for all kids.
“This space is ideal Especially for kids that have been displaced and nowhere to go to because of the YMCA being closed,” Crockett said.
The grand opening will take place February 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 920 40th St. NW
