(ABC 6 News) – A suspicious person was arrested after people claimed he was trying to kidnap others.

ABC 6 came across a post on the Facebook page Spotted in Rochester that warned of a man trying to get into parked cars across the city, trying to kidnap women.

ABC 6 News reached out to Rochester Police, who stated officers were responding to a suspicious person call that matched those reports.

Police later confirmed they placed the man under arrest, saying there was no threat to the public.
