Taqueria El Sueño Mexican restaurant in Rochester to close

(ABC 6 News) – A Rochester Mexican restaurant will be closing its doors at the end of February.

Taqueria El Sueño, located at 7th St. NW, announced on Facebook they will be closing their doors on Wednesday, Feb. 28 after being in business for six years.

The restaurant says they explored every possible situation, but couldn’t figure out how to make ends meet considering the drastic reduction in business as a result of inflation and the pandemic.

However, the taco truck will still be available for caterings and events. They said the truck will have a permanent location in the old Zorbas Restaurant lot, next to the Ye Olde Butcher Shoppe at 924 7th St. NW.
