Taste of Italy, wine tasting at Rochester Art Center Saturday

(ABC 6 News) – The Rochester Art Center will host a Taste of Italy and the Wonderful World of Italian Wine-Making event on Saturday.

The event is from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and is being co-hosted by the Italian Cultural Center of Minneapolis/St. Paul.

This event is from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and admission is FREE.

Enjoy pasta making demonstrations and drop-in art activities for all ages from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and a guided exhibition tour at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Tours will be approximately 40 minutes long.

The Wonderful World of Italian Wine-making

Enjoy a sensory trip to Italy’s top wine regions and explore the art of wine-making that goes back centuries.

See what goes into wine production such as; grapes, soil, planting and pruning techniques, barrel selection and fermentation.

Dominic Sposeto, a former board member of the Italian Cultural Center, will help with sampling.

Live music will be provided by Italian singer-songwriter Vittorio Raimondi.

Tickets are needed to attend this event. Must be 21+ years of age to sample.
