Two arrested after reported shooting in Waseca County

(ABC 6 News) – One person was injured and two people were taken into custody following a shooting in downtown Janesville, MN.

The shooting took place at 3:17 p.m. Tuesday near the Janesville Post Office.

According to the Waseca County Sheriff’s Office, the victim was airlifted with injuries and officers arrested the two suspects in Rural Waseca County immediately following the shooting.

No officers were injured, and law enforcement does not believe there is any threat to the public.

The investigation is ongoing, according to the sheriff’s office.
