U.S. Senator Tina Smith to stop in Rochester
(ABC 6 News) – On Friday, U.S. Senator Tina Smith will visit Rochester and host three events.
Her first stop is to announce the $2 million federal funding for the new downtown district energy system at the Rochester Art Center.
The second event will be at the Zumbro Valley Health Center to discuss its expansion plans, which was recently awarded $676,000 in federal funding.
Then she will stop by Popus Gourmet Popcorn, a new black-owned popcorn shop that opened in downtown Rochester last fall. She will have a brief meeting with shop owner D’Angelo Tines.
