Update: Woman, three children injured in I-35 rollover
(ABC 6 News) – The Minnesota State Patrol, Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office, and Mayo Ambulance responded to a crash on I-35 north of Albert Lea Tuesday evening.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 38-year-old Ella Gangodo of Austin was headed south on Interstate 35 near mile marker 20 and rolled into the median ditch.
Gangodo suffered no injuries. There were six passengers in the car — 60-year-old Evelyne Sylvie Reine Chablis and five boys ages 2-12.
Chablis suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to St. Marys Rochester.
The 12-year-old, 6-year-old, and 2-year-old boys suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The older boys were taken to Albert Lea Hospital and the 2-year-old was taken to St. Marys in Rochester.
Four of the children were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. The 6-year-old was not.
