Vice President Harris to visit Minnesota Thursday

(ABC 6 News) – Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to visit St. Cloud on Thursday, according to a news release from the White House.
The release did not specify a time or location for any events planned, but details are expected later this week.
Harris’ trip to Minnesota comes on the heels of President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address on Tuesday, and she is expected to talk about the Biden administration’s focus on electric vehicle production.
In July 2022, St. Cloud hosted its first EV Expo with a focus on educating local residents on the benefits of EV’s over gas power vehicles.
President Biden, Vice President Harris, and the Cabinet plan to visit over 20 states and host over 30 events to showcase Biden’s economic agenda, according to the White House. Biden will visit Madison, Wisc. on Wednesday.
The Vice President last stopped in Minnesota last October before the midterm elections.
