(ABC 6 News) – According to a Minnesota State Patrol public information officer, from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, there were 30 crashes throughout the state.
Three crashes resulted in injuries. None of the crashes resulted in serious or fatal injuries. Authorities responded to one jackknifed semi-truck.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation encouraged people to stay off the roads Wednesday afternoon.
“Every factor that makes it challenging is going to hit all at once Wednesday night. And we don’t want you out there when conditions are like that. When it’s scary for our snowplow drivers, it’s even worse for you,” said Anne Meyer, media relations coordinator for MNDOT.
