Wisconsin man sentenced to 7.5 years in 2021 rape case
(ABC 6 News) – A Wisconsin man who pleaded guilty to rape was sentenced to 90 months, or about 7.5 years at the MN Correctional Facility in St. Cloud Monday.
Jeremy Scott Martin, formerly of Rochester, was given credit for 267 days spent in jail before his sentencing.
He will spend 10 years on probation after release, according to Minnesota Court Records Online.

(ABC 6 News) – A Wisconsin man pleaded guilty to the 2021 rape of a woman ahead of his jury trial Tuesday, Feb. 27.
Jeremy Scott Martin, formerly of Rochester, was previously charged with 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct involving penetration, causing fear of great bodily harm; as well as 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct while armed with a dangerous weapon.

Martin, who now lives in Stanley, Wisconsin, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of 3rd-degree criminal sexual conduct including penetration–uses coercion.
According to Martin’s plea agreement, the usual sentence for a 3rd-degree criminal sexual conduct conviction is 53-74 months.
His sentencing is scheduled for May 20, 2024.
