(ABC 6 News)- After almost a year of planning, Zumbro Valley Health Center held an open house for their new clinic on Tuesday.

They will now have a facility located at Northgate Center in Rochester. It will be their second largest clinic, which will feature group rooms and therapy offices.

The new space will offer all the same programs as its other locations but it will focus more on opioid treatment and housing support.

The location and some of the services they offer are based off of community needs. One of which includes accessability.

“The top needs in Olmsted County are access to service, is one of the top, and then it’s substance use treatment and mental health services. So really improving access is one of the biggest things that we’ll change,” said Beth Krehbiel, CEO of Zumbro Valley Health Center.

Zumbro Valley Health Center hopes to have their new location operational by mid-November.
