I have had an interest in forecasting the weather since I was 4 years old. As a kid, I would analyze clouds, weather maps and make hypothetical forecasts on a dry erase board for hours on end. I am from the Milwaukee suburb of Menomonee Falls, WI and am a proud Wisconsinite through and through. Of course that includes an endless love for all varieties of cheese!

I attended St Cloud State University, where I earned my Bachelors of Science in Meteorology in May of 2024. During my time at St Cloud State, I became more familiar with Minnesota and have become very fond of the state in general. Taking forecasting classes at school, interning at U.S. Bank Stadium to be their event forecaster and competing in weather forecasting challenges has only solidified my love for the weather.

Some of my favorite hobbies include going on runs, mountain biking, going out and spending time with friends, family and my pets back at home, as well as hunting, fishing, and just being out in nature in general. Thunderstorms are hands down my favorite type of weather, and I enjoy getting cool lightning bolt photos whenever I can. I am also a huge fan of tracking tropical weather, and you can usually find me checking out satellite loops of hurricanes and typhoons when I am not forecasting the local weather.

I am thrilled to embark on this new journey as Rochester’s weekend meteorologist! I am new to the Rochester area and cannot wait to get to know the community more!
