Jeremy Ledford

Previous Experience 

Jeremy Ledford joined the ABC 6 News team in May 2024. Hailing from Hannibal, Missouri, Jeremy brings over six years of broadcast experience to ABC 6 News.

He began his broadcasting career in Quincy, Illinois where he worked in both on-air and behind-the-scenes roles. For over five years, he worked as a News Producer and Meteorologist. He also built over two years of experience in the control room as a Technical Director.

Jeremy also has extensive marketing and technology skills. He recently served as a freelance contractor for the Lincoln-Douglas Debate Musuem in Quincy, Illinois. He produced over 40 minutes of video content for the museum’s updated Abraham Lincoln exhibits.

Education

Jeremy attended Moberly Area Community College in Moberly, Missouri where he wrote for the college’s newspaper. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Broadcasting and Operational Meteorology from Mississippi State University.

Personal Interests

In his free time, Jeremy loves to travel, especially on cruises! His favorite destination is Canada’s Prince Edward Island. Jeremy is also a gamer and enjoys titles new and retro across all platforms!
