Michelle Arends – Account Executive

Michelle is a proud Rochester transplant. She made the move from Nashville, TN, and is glad to call Rochester home.  She says you can take the girl out of the South, but you can’t take the South out of the girl.  She refuses to get rid of her Nashville cell phone number and her first sales job was running a shoe store. She worked in various industries before she joined KAAL TV as an Account Executive aka Problem-Solving Picasso. She is known for her y’alls and go team mentality. Her mantra is “I never lose.  I either win or learn.”, she likes to meet clients where they are and provides out-of-the-box solutions for noticeable growth.  She sets realistic expectations and gets excited when her clients succeed.

Outside of work, Michelle juggles the mom life. Both of her children are working towards black belts in Karate and her daughter is in Honor’s Choir.  Michelle is active in the PTO for her daughter’s school and an avid reader. On the weekends she explores hidden gems in our region and is currently teaching her kids how to cook.
