Robin is a familiar face in our viewing area having spent several years as a beloved evening news anchor in Rochester, Mason City and the Twin Cities. She is also a three time Emmy award winning journalist for covering everything from breaking news to human interest stories. Her genuine warmth, intelligence, and professionalism were quickly recognized and respected by all who worked with her.
In addition to television news, Robin also hosted a popular show on HGTV, where she shared her passion for design, DIY projects, and home improvement tips. Her expertise in this area has made her a sought-after expert by national media outlets and publications.
But it is Robin’s deep roots in the Rochester, MN community that have endeared her to local viewers and colleagues alike.
Robin left her television career behind seven years ago when she made the decision to move back to Iowa to become her parents full-time caregiver.

In addition to keeping her “day job” selling real estate for Dwell Realty Group in Rochester, Robin is returning to television to take on a familiar role!
She joins Mayzie Olson as the evening newscaster at KAAL where she will continue to inform, educate, and inspire viewers with her insightful reporting and engaging personality.
