Paint the Town Pink

ABC 6 News is once again a proud sponsor of Paint the Town Pink campaign. Paint the Town Pink is an community-led annual campaign to raise funds for innovative research to accelerate answers to cancer at The Hormel Institute.
Paint the Town Pink allows researchers to further their research as well as fostering a greater connection with the community of Austin and communities throughout the region. While the initial focus of Paint the Town Pink was only breast cancer, the answers found through research grants have been able to affect many other cancers as well.
Since it started in 2011, PTTP has raised nearly $3 million for cancer research at The Hormel Institute. Thanks to The Hormel Foundation’s annual support, every dollar donated to The Hormel Institute is used to support innovative research aimed at accelerating answers to cancer.
