Over 5,000 packages checked out from the Rochester Public Library’s Seed Library

(ABC 6 NEWS) – This week was the first week of the Rochester Public Library’s Seed Library, and now we’re learning, it’s a huge success.

Kelly Rae Kirkpatrick of the Rochester City Council tells ABC 6 News that almost 6,000 packages of seeds have been checked out so far.

That’s almost 1,000 packages a day, library staff has packed over 14,000 packages this year.
