Class A State Track & Field Final Results

(ABC 6 News) — The MSHSL Track and Field Championships continued for local schools in Class A on Friday.
Triton’s Owen Petersohn stood out from the crowd in St. Michael, taking first in the 110m with a 15.23-second finish. Additionally, Petersohn claimed first in the 300m, coming from behind to capture a 39.97-second victory.
St. Charles’ Tyler Gunnarson was one of two Saints at the Championships, Gunnarson placed second in three races: the 100m, 200m and 800m wheelchair events.
Other local school had top-three finishes such as the GMLOKS team. The Bulldogs’ Anika and Chantle Reiland had second and third finishes respectively in the girls 100m dash (12.48 and 12.65 seconds). The Bulldogs as a whole also won the girls 4x300m in a school-best 1:45.03 time.
Zumbrota-Mazeppa was rather busy itself, the girls 4×200 relay took second (1:45.98) while the Cougars’ Natasha Sortland 5:07.36 time landed her second in the girls 1600m. Katrina Sortland got second-best as well, placing a 2:17.48 in the 800m.
