(ABC 6 News) — High school softball highlights from Chatfield in the Gophers season opener against the St. Charles Saints.
Chatfield took a strong lead after a big fourth inning, scoring four runs and making it a 5-1 game. Rylee Urban kept the Saints at a distance with 12 strike outs.
Makenna Dornack offered a little more cushion with a home run, with some interesting ruling on the base paths, the Gophers would take a six run lead.
St. Charles would get another run to cross, but if would not help very much as Chatfield wins 7-2.
