Hayfield heads to championship in first Legion State Softball Tournament

(ABC 6 News) — The Hayfield legion softball team made their run at the first American Legion Girls Fastpitch Softball Tournament on Saturday.
The Vikings faced Wadena in the quarterfinal, defeating their opponent 6-4 before facing Fairmont in the semifinal. Much like Wadena, Fairmont couldn’t stop Hayfield, who will play in the championship against Browerville on Sunday at 1 PM in Mankato.
