(ABC 6 News) — High school football is still months away from starting again, but there’s important news for the Osage Green Devils.
The football program now has its newest head coach, Chris Kyhl; the hiring was confirmed to ABC 6 News by Osage activities director Ryan Flickinger. Kyhl replaces the previous coach Torian Wolf following the latter’s resignation in January.
Kyhl previously served as Osage Football’s defensive coordinator since 2019 before receiving the head coaching role. The Green Devils are coming off a 7-3 campaign in 2022, reaching the second round of the Class 2A playoffs.
Kyhl also currently serves as the head coach of Osage’s e-sports team.
