RCTC WBB and Riverland MBB receive bids in the NJCAA D-III National tournaments
#2 Yellowjackets WBB begins its national title defense at home, #10 Blue Devils MBB begins tournament run in Herkimer, New York.
(ABC 6 News) — The next stage of the postseason is here for RCTC Women’s Basketball and Riverland Men’s Hoops.
Both programs have clinched spots in the NJCAA D-III National Tournaments starting next week on March 13-14.
RCTC WBB begins its’ national title defense as the second seed, but like last season, they have the privilege of home-court advantage as the entire tournament will be held in Rochester. The Yellowjackets have a bye and will play on March 14 against either Jefferson or RCSJ-Gloucester.
As for Riverland MBB, the Blue Devils received an at-large bid as the 10th seed in the men’s tournament which is in Herkimer, New York once again. The Blue Devils play on March 13 against #7 Prince George’s with the winner facing #2 Northern Essex the next day.
