Rochester native Sebastian Vile joins Alabama’s tennis program as a graduate assistant
(ABC 6 News) — Rochester native Sebastian Vile is headed to Alabama to join their tennis coaching staff as a grad assistant.
In a team statement, Vile said that he is thankful to head coach George Husack, “and his staff for the incredible opportunity to be a part of the Alabama family. I cannot wait to learn from one of the most experienced and successful coaches in college tennis.”
The former Mayo Spartan played college tennis for both Minnesota and Wisconsin racking up 64 singles and 63 doubles victories in his collegiate career. Vile finished as the 2022 Big Ten singles runner-up while with the Badgers.
In high school, Vile won the 2018 Class 2A singles title for Mayo as a senior, capping off an undefeated campaign.
