Six Austin Bruins, four North Iowa Bulls to play in NAHL Top Prospects Tournament

(ABC 6 News) — In just a few weeks, some of the best in the NAHL will convene in Pittsburgh for the 2023 Top Prospects Tournament.
It’s one of the most highly scouted events, featuring almost every NHL and NCAA D-I school.
Thursday, the rosters were announced with six Austin Bruins making the cut; as well as Bruins head coach Steve Howard who will coach the Central Squad.
Aside from Coach Howard, Bruins players Nate Looft, Austin Salani, Bryan Gilman, Matt Desiderio, Josh Giuliani and Walter Zacher will all make the trip to the event.
Additionally, four North Iowa Bulls players will also be in Pittsburgh, including Carter Theissen, Mitch Day, Justin Mexico and Eli Miller.
The players will participate in two games at the Pittsburgh Penguins’ practice facility starting February 6.
