(ABC 6 News) — With National Signing Day on Wednesday, two local athletes got a head start on Monday afternoon.

Zumbrota-Mazeppa’s Jack Boraas and Oliver Liffrig signed their NLIs with Wisconsin-River Falls Football, ensuring they’ll still be teammates for a few more years.

Several players on the Falcons were from our area last season including two Zumbrota natives, Carter Quam and Conner Preston.
