(ABC 6 News) — The Simpson College Storm visited Waldorf Football on Saturday in what is believed to be the first-ever meeting between both programs.
Following the Warriors going up 13-0 in the first quarter, the Storm countered with J Jensen III passing to Desmond Alexander for a nine-yard touchdown. Waldorf would later fumble the ball away allowing Jensen III to find Reed Worth for an 80-yard score, putting the Storm ahead 14-13.
In the second quarter, the Warriors punched back as Jordan Cooper connected with Mike Mouton for a 45-yard score.
Following halftime, disaster would occur for Simpson College during a punt attempt. The snap to the punter was mishandled, with the ball live, Warriors linebacker Morgan Dostal picked it up and ran 22 yards for a scoop and score.
The Warriors now up 30-14, Waldorf dialed up some deja vu in their playbook, Cooper finding Malik Adams for a 78-yard touchdown pass.

All in all, it was a fantastic game for the Waldorf community, the Warriors advancing to 3-0 in a 54-21 victory.
