Two Honkers selected for Northwoods League All-Star Game

(ABC 6 News) — The Rochester Honkers will have a little representation in the Northwoods League All-Star Game.
Star infielder Nico Regino and pitcher Thaniel Trumper will be the only two from the Honkers to participate, after solid numbers through the first half of the NWL baseball season.
Prior to Friday’s game against the St. Cloud Rox, Regino had a .343 batting average on the season with 18 RBIs which is tied for the best on the team. Trumper has come in relief in 15 appearances, pitching an ERA of 2.16 over 16.2 innings. The Northwoods League All-Star Game will be played in Wisconsin Rapids on Tuesday, July 19 at 7 PM central time.
