Comfortably mild into the weekend
Thanks to a large, blocking ridge of high pressure in the weather pattern, there won’t be much change in the weather the rest of the week. Less humid air has moved in from the east, and daily high temperatures will be running within a few degrees of the norm for this time of June. There will still be a bit of smoky haze from time to time, but we’ve seen an overall improvement in the air quality in comparison to a couple days ago.
For now, keep on watering the garden and staying optimistic for more rain farther down the road. There will likely be showers around the area on Saturday, and I’m hopeful some of us will get a good watering. It won’t be enough to off-set the recent dry spell, but something is better than nothing. No major ups or downs in temperatures are in store for the next week with a seasonable trend continuing.
