Dog days of spring

Stable, but smoky skies are going to hang in there for at least the next few days, leading into a generally quiet start to Memorial Day weekend. If you’ve been enjoying the summer warmth, it’s going to stick around this weekend but temperatures will back down slightly the next couple days.

For the weekend ahead, the unofficial kick-off of summer is going to feel a lot like it typically does in June or July with highs in the upper 70s to early 80s. From today’s perspective, rain chances look minimal to non-existent through Memorial Day due to the presence of dry air. We’ll keep a close eye on that, knowing you likely have some important outdoor plans. Stay tuned!
