Egan Company expanding to Kasson
(ABC 6 News) – Officials say more jobs are coming to the Kasson community. This comes as specialty contractor Egan broke ground on Monday on a new 40 thousand square foot prefabrication facility.
Egan says it have started to outgrow it’s Rochester office and some employees will now move to Kasson with 20 additional jobs to be added. The company chose the town because of its access to Highway 14 and the many current employees that call Kasson home.
CEO James Ford says rural communities are at the heartbeat of what they do.
“You know we employ just about 900 people and so it takes people from both those metro areas and non-metro areas. And we find people with great work ethic, you know men and women who want to work at Egan Company, and it just has been a great resource for us,” said Ford.
The facility is expected to be fully operational in January 2025.
