Generally a nice stretch
Temps have ups and downs and there are some transient opportunities for rain this week. But overall, this will be a chance for us to dry out after a soggy stretch of days. Let’s talk the temperatures first.
Temps will be warmest on Tuesday. Upper 70s, close to 80°, are expected as we have a day of full sunshine ahead. A weak cold front will move through late in the afternoon from north to south. That will drop temperatures for Wednesday and Thursday a touch, back into the low to mid 70s.
That weak front will bring an outside opportunity for a spot shower or storm. It is unlikely that this is widespread and a select few will see. Thursday evening is our best opportunity for rain as a cold front moves through from west to east. Generally, rainfall amounts will be less than 1/4″ except those that see a t-storm. Even then, storms will be moving through quickly, limited any threats for significant totals. Temps will dial it back quite a bit for Friday. Look for 60s.
There are some signals that smoke begins playing a role in the upper levels of the atmosphere beginning on Wednesday for the rest of the week.
