More humid = better rain chances

One of the limiting factors for rainfall around here lately has been the lack of moisture. Now, we’re seeing those dew points creep up higher and they’re feeding into better possibilities of showers and thunderstorms. We’re not looking at much on the stronger side, although there may be some hail up to nickel size in some storms along and west of I-35 Tuesday evening. Overall it’s good news; better rain chances, finally getting some downpours on the fields, and not enough to thwart all the outdoor activities for the rest of the week.
