Woman sent to hospital after house fire in Rochester

(ABC 6 News) – A woman was found unresponsive as fire crews worked to extinguish a house fire in Rochester.
The Rochester Fire Department was called to a house in downtown Rochester.
The call came in around 9:13 p.m.
Upon arrival, they found a fire burning a one and half story house. Once inside crews found the women in a bedroom on the first floor.
She was quickly removed and was given life-saving efforts along with paramedics from Mayo Clinic Ambulance Services. She was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital. Her condition is unknown at this time.
Two dogs were also found. One was confirmed dead.
Crews have since extinguished the flames.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
